Involvement in Stephen Ministry includes:

An initial 50 hours of training in caring ministry skills and concepts

Approximately one hour per week visiting a care receiver

Participation in a monthly supervision and support meeting

A commitment of two years service

A commitment to confidentiality

The need for care givers continues to grow. A training class is offered each fall. If you feel that your gifts could include this service to your congregation, please consider becoming a Stephen Minister.

Stephen Ministry Multiplies Ministry: Gifted lay people are trained to support and extend the care that pastors continue to provide.
