Deacons meet the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Members assist the pastor in determining how best to meet spiritual needs and concerns of the congregation. Members promote church membership and visit with prospective new members within 72 hours. Members also help with the distribution of Holy Communion.
Education meets once each month via e-mail correspondence
Members oversee and promote the educational programs of the church: Sunday school and Confirmation; Vacation Bible school and/or Day Camp; Third Grade Bibles; First Communion; Confirmation; High school Graduation; and the Trinity Lutheran Preschool.
Altar Guild meets throughout the church year at schedule times. See the bulletin or online calendar for specific dates and times.
Members care for the chancel area and its furnishings; make communion bread; fill and wash communion vessels; care for the linens; clean and polish the brass pieces; hang banners appropriate for the church year; make provision for candles and candelabra used at weddings; and decorate for the seasons of Christmas and Easter.
Parish Life meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Members coordinate a variety of interesting and fun-filled activities for all ages! Bowling, Picnics, Hay Rides, Horseback Riding, Golfing, Mystery Meals, Potlucks, Game Nights, Tailgate parties, and are always looking for our input!!
Preschool Board meets throughout the school year, dates and times vary. We are professionals dedicated to providing quality childcare in a happy, safe learning environment in which each child can develop at an individual rate to his or her fullest potential. We believe that our congregation's life and mission include assisting parents in the development of their young children.
Property meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Members take care of the physical needs of our place of worship: supervision, maintenance, upkeep of the outside grounds, preventative maintenance, programming and general planning as well as study, oversight and management of any new church construction or remodeling.
Trustees meet the 1st Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
Members are responsible for teaching the congregation about stewardship, and managing the monies the congregation has given in order that we might give Glory to God.
Trust Fund Committee meets throughout the church year. See the bulletin or online calendar for specific dates and times.
Members make decisions involving the investment of funds, principle funds, interest and endowments given to the church.
Worship and Arts meets the last Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Sletwold room.
Members work together with the director of music and the pastor on how we "do" worship; plan special worship events; help determine worship schedules; make suggestions regarding artwork and banners, as well as other items displayed in the sanctuary and narthex; and make provision for the upkeep and maintenance of our instruments and sound equipment.
Women of Trinity The Women of Trinity are a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We are committed to growing in faith, affirming our gifts, supporting one another in our callings, engaging in ministry and action, and promoting healing and wholeness within the church, the society and the world. We meet throughout the church year. Some of our events include: General meetings; Out and About Day; Sponsoring missionaries; Lutheran World Relief Projects: school kits, health kits, layettes, soap collection, quilting and sewing kits. Prayer Circle and Telephone Chains; Stone Soup Supper; Ice Cream Social; Vermillion Senior Citizens Dinner and the Christmas Salad Luncheon.
