Trinity Lutheran, Vermillion, will host the 23rd Annual SE South Dakota Synodical Convention, June 25 and 26, 2010
Theme: God Colors Outside the Lines
Goals:
  • To Celebrate God's unexpected gifts.

  • To Celebrate our diversity


  • Friday, June 25: 1 PM Registration ($35 fee) and coffee
  • 6 PM: Banquet hosted by the Women of Trinity Lutheran, Yankton
  • Special music provided by Becky Aga and daughters
  • 7 PM: Bible Study led by Rev. Carla Nelson

  • Saturday, June 26: 8 AM Registration ($35 fee) and coffee
  • Worship with communion led by Rev. David Wildermuth
  • 10:45 AM Joy Ranch update by Pam Walton
  • 12 noon: Luncheon hosted by the Women of Trinity Lutheran, Yankton
  • 1 PM: Last opportunity to bid on the Silent Auction items (proceeds to Joy Ranch)
  • 3 PM: Love Offering ingathering for Clothing Closet & Contact Center/Food Pantry (Yankton, SD)
  • 4 PM: Pick up Silent Auction items

    Trinity Lutheran Church Annual Ice Cream Social, July 20th. Serving from 5 to 7 p.m. Please plan to attend the Trinity Lutheran Church Annual Ice Cream Social on Tuesday, July 20th. Serving is from 5 to 7 p.m. at the fellowship hall. The menu consists of: Taverns • Chips •Homemade Pies • Cakes •Ice Cream • Lemonade • Free Ice Water. Funds will be supplemented by Clay County Thrivent.

    Did you know? We support missionaries, Philip and June Nelson, serving in Cameroon. They will be in the United States from July 2 - September 30th. Please join us in praying for their continued ministries.

    The Vermillion Community Food Pantry is located in Trinity Lutheran Church. The pantry accepts perishable items during business hours. Other donations can be dropped off at pantry during business hours. There are two drop boxes outside the church office. Thank you for your support!

    The Pantry's hours are
  • Mondays and Fridays: 1 to 4:30 PM
  • Tuesdays: 5 to 7 PM
  • Thursdays: 9 to 4:30 PM
